ASM Studios is an independent entertainment studio founded by Allen Stephens in Austin, Texas. It develops original films, short-form series, family stories, and digital entertainment, bringing together imaginative worlds, continuing characters, and a love of storytelling.
The studio combines story development, visual production, editing, sound, music created for its productions, and emerging creative tools. Its creative identity is rooted in wonder, warmth, mystery, and possibility.
The tools may be new. The purpose is timeless: tell stories that move people, restore wonder, and leave audiences wanting to return.
Meet Allen Stephens →
Allen Stephens is the founder of ASM Studios in Austin, Texas. He is building an independent entertainment studio around original stories, continuing characters, and worlds audiences can return to.
Allen brings 15 years of professional theater experience to ASM Studios. His background also includes radio and television commercials, feature-film work, and stand-up. His acting and performance training informs his approach to character, dialogue, timing, and storytelling. That creative foundation guides the studio’s original productions.
His approach brings creative development together with visual production, editing, sound, and emerging technology. For Jameson Manor, the studio’s development work includes research into period clothing, everyday life, architecture, interiors, and lighting, supporting a continuing drama told in short chapters.
His love of animals and involvement in fostering through Cuz I Matter Animal Rescue help shape the purpose behind the studio.

Caring for animals is part of the purpose behind ASM Studios.

One goal is to create resources to help build kennels so the rescue can save more animals. It is a personal mission that reaches beyond the stories on screen.
